*NOTE: While students transferring through this pathway receive 8.0 transfer credits, only 4.0 transfer credits are applicable towards the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Honours) in order to meet program requirements. 

Requirements

To qualify for this pathway, students must:

  • Successfully complete Fleming College's Biotechnology Advanced Diploma program;
  • Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%.

Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs. 

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

*Additional notes: The Compressed Nursing program is offered over 28 consecutive months (7 consecutive semesters). The Trent/Fleming School of Nursing also offers a Collaborative Nursing degree program. The Collaborative Nursing degree program is offered on a full-time basis over four years, with the option to complete studies in three-and-a-half years. Students transferring to Trent through this pathway who are interested in the Collaborative Nursing degree program will have a lightened course load but will not be eligible to fast-track through the program. Cancellation Policy

This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
