Pathway students will receive a block of credit that reflects credit for all majors within the Honours Bachelor of Commerce. Based on the major chosen, not all credits from this block will apply. 

For the Accounting major: 23 credits will apply to degree requirements (pending all additional course related grade requirements are met).

Students must also obtain a minimum grade of B in the following Seneca diploma courses (or equivalent courses from their previous postsecondary institution):

For the Business Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management majors: 17 of 23 credits will apply to degree requirements.

Requirements

Graduates of this three-year advanced diploma with a minimum GPA of 65% (2.5 on Seneca's grade scale) are eligible to enter the fourth semester of the Honours Bachelor of Commerce in the winter, summer or fall term.

How to apply:

Domestic students will be required to submit an application via Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) and select “degree completion” as their entry semester.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

International students will apply to the degree via Seneca’s International Student Web Application, and follow up with their Admissions Advisor regarding their pathway eligibility.  The student will need their Seneca application confirmation number when they reach out to their advisor.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

For the Accounting major: 24 courses plus one work-integrated learning term must be completed at Seneca.

For the Business Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management majors: 30 courses plus one work-integrated learning term must be completed at Seneca.

Cancellation Policy

All Seneca pathways will have a review date of three years from the date of implementation. Pathways may have a shorter review date if substantive curriculum changes are made to either the sending or receiving program. Students enrolled in the receiving institution at the time of any change or notice of termination will be given the opportunity to complete their studies based on the terms of the transfer pathway in effect at the time of their enrollment.
