Students beginning studies in the General Arts and Science Certificate program since Fall 2023 will receive the following 5.0 transfer credits: 

  • 0.5 WRIT 1001H – Write in Time 
  • 0.5 unassigned Political Science credit at the 1000 level 
  • 4.0 unassigned Arts credit at the 1000 level

Students who started the program prior to Fall 2023 are encouraged to contact Trent University for information about transfer credits awarded as part of this pathway. 

Students who have completed specific choice credits may be eligible to receive departmental credit in place of unassigned Arts credit. Students must e-mail admissions@trentu.ca to flag their eligibility. Please refer to the student advising guide for more information.

Cancellation Policy

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
