Program Transfer Search

Students beginning in the Personal Support Worker Certificate program since Fall 2023 will receive the following 3.5 transfer credits: 

• 0.5 INDG 1001H – The Foundation of Reconciliation
• 0.5 PSYC 2550H – Theories of Human Development 
• 0.5 WRIT 1001H – Write in Time 
• 2.0 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level

Transfer credits for students beginning studies in the program prior to Fall 2023 will be assessed on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:

• Successfully completed Canadore College’s Personal Support Worker Certificate;
• A minimum overall average of 75%

Bridging

Students pursuing majors for which introductory credits are not provided through the transfer credit block may be encouraged to complete courses in the term prior to entering Trent full-time. Consultation with an academic advisor is strongly encouraged. (http://trentu.ca/advising).
