- 0.5 INDG 1001H - The Foundation for Reconciliation
- 1.0 unassigned Cultural Studies credit at the 2000 level
- 1.0 unassigned English Literature credit at the 1000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Philosophy credit at the 1000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Arts credit at the 2000 level
Students who entered the Journalism - Mass Media Diploma program prior to Fall 2025 are encouraged to contact Trent University regarding information about transfer credits received through this pathway.
Requirements
To qualify for this agreement, students must:
- Successfully complete Durham College’s Journalism – Mass Media Diploma program;
- Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%.
Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

Students must complete the following 15.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Media Studies:
- 0.5 MDST 1010H – The Digital World
- 0.5 MDST 1535H – Introduction to Media Studies
- 1.0 MDST 2035Y – Media and Society; or 0.5 MDST 2535H – Media and Society and 3535H – Television Studies
- 6.0 additional Media Studies credits
- 7.0 elective credits
*Additional notes: Courses without specified year levels must include at least 6.0 credits at the 3000 and/or 4000 level(s); and no more than 3.5 credits at the 1000 level.

Cancellation Policy
This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
