Students are required to complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Computer Science degree:

  • 0.5 COIS 2020H - Data Structures and Algorithm
  • 0.5 COIS 2300H - Computer Organization
  • 0.5 COIS 3020H - Data Structures and Algorithm II
  • 0.5 COIS 3380H - Systems Programming in C
  • 0.5 MATH 1350H - Linear Algebra I: Matrix Algebra
  • 0.5 MATH 1550H - Probability I: Introduction to Probability
  • 0.5 MATH 2600H - Discrete Structures
  • 0.5 MATH 1005H - Applied Calculus
  • 0.5 Computer Science credit at the 3000 level or above in addition to the above
  • 1.5 Computer Science credits at the 4000 level
  • 1.5 additional Computer Science credits
  • 0.5 credits from the Approved Indigenous Course List
  • 2.0 additional credits 

*Additional notes: Computer Science and other elective credits without specified year levels must include at least 1.0 credit at the 3000 level or above and no more than 2.5 1000 level credits. 2.0 of choice credits must also be considered science credits. Students in the degree completion program will be allowed to enroll concurrently in COIS 2020H, COIS 2240H, and any course for which COIS 2020H, COIS 2240H and/or 2300H is a prerequisite (e.g. COIS 3030H, COIS 3040H, COIS 3320H).

Cancellation Policy

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
