Graduates of the Developmental Services Worker program who have a cumulative grade point average equivalent to B (3.0) or better will normally receive credit equivalent to a minimum of ten courses toward a BA or BSW degree in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Students will receive credit on the basis of a General Approved Course List or for courses on a Specific Approved Course List that they passed with a minimum grade of C. Refer to the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences for approved course lists. Students must meet all regular requirements for the program they choose; the number of course credits applied toward program requirements will vary depending on program choice. Students whose Developmental Services Worker diploma program includes transfer credits for previously completed university courses will normally receive a minimum of 10 university credits in accordance with the above provisions. Graduates with an overall B average or better may be admitted into second year of the Disability Studies program.
