Transfer Credit will be granted for the first two years (levels 1-4) of the Bachelor of Community Mental Health and Wellness. Gaps in knowledge and skills between the diploma and the first two years in the degree are covered through completion of two bridging courses added to Year 3 of the degree. 

Requirements

Graduates of the two year Social Services Worker Diploma from any of the Ontario Provincial Colleges may apply to the Bachelor of Community Mental Health and Wellness (Honours). Once they are given an offer of admission by Conestoga, applicants enter Year 3 with advanced standing status, and must complete two bridging courses and one Interdisciplinary Elective course. The bridging courses are incorporated into Year 3 of the degree in addition to the regular courses. One additional Interdisciplinary Elective course must be completed before or during the last semester of the degree.
