NOTE:  Fanshawe’s School of Community Studies is committed to supporting credit transfer and student mobility.  There may be differences in the number of credits granted based on variations in ECE programs across Ontario.  Fanshawe will work to maximize the academic credit granted to students transferring under this agreement and in most cases, students will not be required to exceed the semesters remaining to complete the credential with Fanshawe College, however, there might be exceptions to this rule based on curriculum alignment with the sending institution.

Graduates of a two-year Early Childhood Education diploma program at an Ontario College with a cumulative overall average of 70% or better will be considered for admission to Bachelor of Arts programs at Nipissing University.

Graduation from a public Ontario College Diploma program in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent, with an overall average of B/ 3.0 is required for admission consideration.

All applicants must have completed, prior to commencing the Early Childhood Studies program, three one-term (or equivalent) liberal studies courses, at the university level, with minimum B- / 70% grades in each course. One of the lower level liberal studies courses MUST be an English subject.

College courses CANNOT be used as substitutions for university level liberal studies courses.  University courses that have been used to fulfill Early Childhood Education diploma requirements CANNOT be used to meet the liberal studies requirements.  In addition, the liberal studies courses CANNOT be introductory level Psychology or Sociology.

Western agrees to consider for admission to the Faculty of Science (3-year B.Sc. Environmental Science major, 4-year B.Sc. Environmental Science major, 4-year B.Sc. Environmental Science Specialization, 4-year B.Sc. Environmental Science Honors Specialization), students who have complied with the following requirements:

a. a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on all courses taken toward the completion of the two-year Environmental Technician Diploma program or three-year Environmental Technology Diploma .  The competitive overall average can vary from year to year and will be determined by the University for the year in which students apply. This fast-track program is designed for students with a two-year Hospitality diploma wishing to pursue a degree in business focusing on hospitality.

Graduates from a hospitality - hotel operations 2 year diploma (MTCU 53200)  with a program GPA of 2.7 and minimum grade of B may apply to the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality).  To enter Semester 5, students are required to complete a bridging semester from May to August and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.7 and minimum grade of B.  Apply to OCAS, Semester 4, H312.  George Brown graduates contact Jennifer Durrell to apply to the program.

Graduates of Ontario College two-year Diploma programs with an overall average of 65% or better, are eligible to apply to the Bachelor of Arts programs at Laurentian University.

Graduates of Business Fundamentals program must meet Algoma University admission requirements, which requires successful completion of the one-year certificate with a minimum overall average of B (70%) or higher to be eligible for credit recognition.

Graduates of Ontario College two-year Diploma programs with an overall average of 65% or better, are eligible to apply to the Bachelor of Arts programs at Laurentian University.

Graduates of the two-year Ontario College Diploma in Dental Hygiene from any Ontario College with a minimum 75% cumulative average are eligible for admissions into various Honours undergraduate programs in multiple majors within the Faculty of Human & Social Sciences and Faculty of Liberal Arts at Laurier's Brantford Campus. Graduates are also eligible for admission into BA Psychology on Laurier's Waterloo campus.
