Huron agrees to consider for admission to full-time study into the Bachelor of Arts program (Global Studies, English, French Studies, History, Jewish Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, or Psychology Module), students from the Liberal Studies Diploma program at Lambton who meet the following requirements:

•  Completion of the 2-year (or accelerated) Liberal Studies Diploma program with a minimum overall average of "B+", or 3.5 GPA calculated on all courses in the diploma program, and with no grade less than "C", or 2.0 GPA.
•  Completion of the required prerequisite courses at Lambton, specific to the program of study.

In order to be considered for admission, Lambton students must apply to Huron by May 1 of the year in which they are seeking admission. Applicants must provide their academic transcripts to the Huron Admissions Office by July 1.

Admissions decisions are within the sole discretion of Western and Huron, and are not appealable. Applicants who meet the requirements set out above are not guaranteed admission under this Agreement. Western's Faculties of Arts & Humanities, Social Science and Science, and the Faculties of Arts and Social Science at Brescia, Huron and King's agree to consider for admission graduates of the Early Childhood Education 2-year diploma program at Fanshawe who meet the following requirements: 

     - A competitive overall admission average as determined by Western, Brescia, Huron and King's;

     - No individual grade less than "C" or 60 in each course outlined in Appendix 1.

Admissions decisions are within the sole discretion of Western, Brescia, Huron and King's and are not appealable.  Applicants who meet the requirements set out above are not guaranteed admission under this Agreement. The decision as to the number of students who will be accepted in any academic year may vary from year to year. Western agrees to consider for admission to the 4-year Bachelor of Arts Major in Media, Information and Technoculture degree program and grant block transfer credit to graduates of the Interactive Media Design diploma program who meet the following requirements:

Completion of the two-year Interactive Media Design diploma program with an overall average of “B+” or 3.5 GPA calculated on all courses within the diploma program only, and no grade less than “C” or 2.0 GPA; and

Completion within five years immediately prior to applying to the Media, Information and Technoculture program of a prescribed set of courses within the Interactive Media Design diploma program (see the Credit Transfer section below).

In order to be considered for admission, Fanshawe students must notify Western’s Undergraduate Admissions Office by March 1 of the year in which they are seeking admission of their intention to apply, and provide the Admissions Office with their academic transcripts by June 1.

Completion within five years immediately prior to applying to the Media, Information and Technoculture program of a prescribed set of courses within the Journalism - Broadcast diploma program (see list in the Transfer Credit section below).

Huron University College agrees to consider for admission to full-time study in Year 3 of the Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (Specialization in Accounting) Program, and grant block transfer credit to graduates of the Business-Accounting Diploma program at Fanshawe who meet the following requirements:

a) completion of the two-year Business-Accounting Diploma program with a competitive overall admission average as determined by the receiving institution for the year in which they apply, and with no grade less than “C” or 2.0 GPA;

b) completion of the prescribed set of courses within the Business-Accounting Diploma program within the two years immediately prior to applying to the receiving institution;

c) completion of Fanshawe Mathematics 3079 (Calculus & Vectors); MCV4U (Calculus & Vectors) or an equivalent as approved by the receiving institution; and

d) the written endorsement of the Associate Dean of the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business at Fanshawe.

2. In order to be considered for admission to a receiving institution under this agreement, Fanshawe students must notify the Undergraduate Admissions Office at the applicable receiving institution by March 1st of the year in which they are seeking admission of their intention to apply, and provide the applicable Admissions Office with their academic transcripts by June 1st of that year.

Admissions decisions are within the sole discretion of the receiving institution and cannot be appealed. Applicants who meet the requirements set out in paragraphs 1 and 2 above are not guaranteed admission under this Agreement. Final determination of the validity of all admissions rests with the Registrar at Western in accordance with the provisions of the affiliation agreement between Western, Huron and King’s.

King’s agrees to consider for admission to full-time study to Year 3 of the Management & Organizational Studies, Specialization in Finance and Administration, and grant block transfer credit to graduates of the Business-Accounting Diploma program at Fanshawe who meet the following requirements:

a) completion of the two-year Business-Accounting Diploma program with a competitive overall admission average as determined by the receiving institution for the year in which they apply, and with no grade less than “C” or 2.0 GPA;

b) completion of the prescribed set of courses within the Business-Accounting Diploma program within the two years immediately prior to applying to the receiving institution;

c) completion of Fanshawe Mathematics 3079 (Calculus & Vectors); MCV4U (Calculus & Vectors) or an equivalent as approved by the receiving institution; and

Western agrees to consider for admission to the Faculty of Science - Environmental Science or Chemistry degree modules, and grant transfer credit to graduates of the 3- year Chemical Engineering Technology— Environmental diploma program at Sheridan, who meet the following requirements:

Western agrees to consider for admission to full-time study in Compressed Time Frame BScN degree program to graduates of the Practical Nursing Diploma program at Fanshawe who meet the following requirements: 

a) completion of the two-year Practical Nursing Diploma program with a minimum GPA of 75%, or 3.5, and a competitive overall admission average as determined by the receiving institution for the year in which they apply; and 

b) completion of all courses listed below within Practical Nursing Diploma program with a minimum grade of “C” or 60%:

1. ANAT 1005 - Anatomy & Physiology 1 (4.0 Credits)
2. NRSG 1011 - Health & Transitions 1 (5.0 Credits)
3. ANAT 1012 - Anatomy & Physiology 2 (3.0 Credits)
4. NRSG 1015 - Health & Transition 2 (5.0 Credits)
5. NRSG 3011 - Healing & Episodic Health Challenges 1 (4.0 Credits)
6. NRSG 3013 - Healing & Episodic Health Challenges 2 (6.0 Credits); and 

c) completion of the equivalent of two years of full-time RPN practice experience (3,640 hours in Canada) in the past five years is required if the Practical Nursing Diploma was completed more than five years immediately prior to applying. Applicants must: 

1. provide a complete Verification of Employment Hours form; and 

d) have RPN registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and be entitled to practice with no restrictions; and 

e) a minimum overall average of 70% on 5.0 full degree courses (equivalent to one full year) at a recognized university; and 

f) completion of CASPer (Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics) with a competitive score. 

In order to be considered for admission to a receiving institution under this agreement, Fanshawe students must submit an application through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre by February 15th of the year in which they are seeking admission and provide the Admissions Office with their academic transcripts by March 1st of that year. 

Admissions decisions are within the sole discretion of the receiving institution and cannot be appealed. Applicants who meet the requirements set out above are not guaranteed admission under this Agreement.

1.  Western agrees to consider for admission to the Faculty of Science, Computer Science modules and grant transfer credit to graduates of the Fanshawe 3-year Computer Programmer Analyst diploma program who meet the following requirements:

• Achieve a minimum overall GPA of 3.5 as calculated by Western;
• Achieve a minimum of “C” or 60% in each course considered for transfer credit, except those evaluated on a pass/fail basis, in which case a pass is required.

2.  Completion of grade 12 Calculus (MCV4U) or equivalent is required by the end of the first term at Western. However, it is highly recommended that students complete this requirement prior to beginning their studies at Western. 

3.  No longer than five years should have elapsed between conferral of the diploma and admission to Western.

Courses used towards the diploma program that are upgraded after the completion of the diploma program will be considered as part of the GPA.  Any course taken after completion of the diploma program and not used toward the diploma program will not be calculated as part of the GPA;

• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required on all courses taken toward completion of diploma;
• A minimum grade of “C” is required in each course listed for transfer credit consideration;
• No longer than 5 years should have elapsed between conferral of diploma and admission to Western (exceptions will be considered on an individual basis).
