  • UOF International

    Following admission, applicants who already hold a postsecondary credential will have their file reviewed for Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR). The maximum number of credits that may be granted depends on the program of study.

  • For courses completed at another postsecondary institution, the following conditions apply:

    • Transferable courses must have been successfully completed with a minimum grade of C;
    • Courses completed at the previous institution must not have been used toward a credential equivalent to the one being pursued at UOF;
    • Courses must be deemed relevant and acceptable for the program in which the applicant is enrolling.

  • A minimum grade of C or its equivalent is required for a course to be considered transferable.

  • High school or postsecondary coursework, or relevant prior experience, may be submitted for PLAR.

  • For a bachelor’s degree, at least 50% of the program’s courses must be completed at the Université de l’Ontario français.

  • Although transferred courses will appear on the transcript, they will not be included in the calculation of the program’s weighted cumulative grade point average.

  • As part of the credit transfer assessment, official course descriptions or outlines may be requested.

  • There is no fee for a credit transfer assessment. However, an assessment can only be conducted once an application for admission to one of our programs has been received.

ONTransfer.ca endeavours to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding credit transfer; however, changes and updates to transfer opportunities happen on an ongoing basis. Students MUST check with the institution directly before applying to any program.
