Western agrees to consider for admission to the Faculty of Science (3-year B.Sc. Environmental Science major, 4-year B.Sc. Environmental Science major, 4-year B.Sc. Environmental Science Specialization, 4-year B.Sc. Environmental Science Honors Specialization), students who have complied with the following requirements:
a. a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on all courses taken toward the completion of the two-year Environmental Technician Diploma program or three-year Environmental Technology Diploma . The competitive overall average can vary from year to year and will be determined by the University for the year in which students apply. Courses used towards the diploma program that are upgraded after the completion of the diploma program will be considered as part of the GPA. Any course taken after completion of the diploma program and not used toward the diploma program will not be calculated as part of the GPA;
b. achieve a minimum grade of “C” or 60 percent in each college course taken toward the completion of the diploma program; and
c. no longer than 3 years should have elapsed between conferral of the diploma and admission to Western. Exceptions will be considered on an individual basis.
Admissions decisions are within the sole discretion of Western and are not appealable. Applicants who meet the requirements set out above are not guaranteed admission under this Agreement. The decision as to the number of students who will be accepted in any academic year may vary from year to year.

1. Western University and Brescia University College agrees to consider for admission to the Bachelor of Science (Foods and Nutrition), Honors Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics program graduates of the Nutrition and Food Services Management diploma program from Centennial College who meet the following requirements:
a. Successful completion of the Nutrition and Food Services Management diploma with a competitive overall admission average for the year in which they apply as calculated by Brescia;
b. Achieved a minimum average of “B+” or 3.5 GPA calculated by Western and Brescia on all courses completed within the diploma program, with no grade less than “C” or 2.0 GPA in each college course as outlined in Appendix 1;
c. Successful completion of Ontario Secondary School Biology (SBI4U) and Chemistry (SCH4U); or equivalents.
2. To be considered for admission, Centennial students must apply to Western or Brescia by May 31st of the year in which they are seeking admission.
3. Admissions decisions are within the sole discretion of Western and Brescia and are not appealable. Applicants who meet the requirements set out above are not guaranteed admission under this Agreement. The decision as to the number of students who will be accepted in any academic year may vary from year to year. Final determination of the validity of all admissions under this agreement rests with the Registrar at Western in accordance with the provisions of the affiliation agreement between Western and Brescia.
