Students beginning studies in the Environmental Technician - Water and Wastewater Systems Operations Diploma program since Fall 2021 will receive the following 5.5 transfer credits:

• 0.5 ERSC 1010H – Environmental Science and Sustainability 
• 0.5 ERSC 1020H – Cases in Environment and Sustainability 
• 0.5 ERSC-GEOG 2090H – Introduction to Geographical Information Systems  
• 0.5 ERSC 2220H – Environmental Assessment: Chemical and Laboratory Methods 
• 0.5 ERSC 2230H – Environmental Assessment: Sampling and Analysis 
• 0.5 WRIT 1001H – Write in Time
• 0.5 WRIT 2003H – Write It Up: Effective Communication
• 0.5 unassigned Environmental and Resource Science credits at the 2000 level from Category A
• 0.5 unassigned Environmental and Resource Science credits at the 3000 level from Category A
• 1.0 unassigned Science credit at the 1000 level 

Transfer credits for students beginning studies in the Environmental Technician - Water and Wastewater Systems Operations Diploma program prior to Fall 2021 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:
- successfully completed Lambton College's Environmental Technician - Water and Wastewater Systems Operations Diploma program;
- a minimum overall average of 75%.

Program Residency Requirement

Students must complete the following 14.5 credits to fulfill requirements for the Environmental and Resource Science degree:

• 0.5 ERST 2100H - Environmental Science and Politics
• 0.5 ERST 2510H - Qualitative Methods in Geography and Environmental Studies
• 0.5 ERST 2520H - Natural Resource Management: Theory and Comparative Cases
• 0.5 ERST 2525H - Critical Environmental Thinking: Political Economy and Policy Process
• 0.5 ERST 3000H - Environmental Professional Practice
• 1.5 additional Environmental and Resource Science/Studies credits from Category B
• 3.0 additional Environmental and Resource Studies credits from Category C
• 0.5 Environmental and Resource Science/Studies credits from Category D
• 0.5 Environmental and Resource Science/Studies credits at the 3000 level or beyond in addition to the above
• 6.5 additional credits from the following (5.0 of which must be at the 3000 level or above):
  • 0.5 credits from the Approved Indigenous Course List
  • 1.0 Math credit
  • 4.0 Science credits
  • 1.0 additional credit

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
