Program Residency Requirement

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Business Administration degree with a Specialization in Human Resource Management:

  • 0.5 ADMN 1221H - Financial Accounting
  • 0.5 ADMN 2510H - Organization Theory
  • 0.5 ADMN 3021H - Fundamentals of Managerial Accounting
  • 0.5 ADMN 3200H - Financial Management
  • 0.5 ADMN 3300H - Personal Ethics in Organizations and Business
  • 0.5 ADMN 4030H - Strategic Management
  • 0.5 ADMN 4101H - Thinking About Management
  • 6.5 additional credits, including:
    • At least 1.0 credit at the 3000 or 4000 level;
    • No more than 3.5 credits at the 1000 level;
    • At least 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List.

Additional notes: Students have the option to pursue a Specialization in Human Resource Management. In order to be recognized as completing the Specialization, students must achieve a minimum 65% in each of ADMN 1221H, 3021H, and 3290H (completed through elective requirements), with a minimum overall average of 70%.  Students are encouraged to speak with an advisor regarding CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) requirements and standards.

Cancellation Policy

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
