Program Residency Requirement

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Environmental and Resource Science degree:

  • 0.5 ERST 3000H - Environmental Professional Practice
  • 3.0 additional Environmental and Resource Science, Category A
  • 1.5 additional Environmental and Resource Science/Studies, Category B
  • 0.5 additional Environmental and Resource Science/Studies credits, Category D
  • 4.5 additional credits at the 3000 level or above in the following:
    • 0.5 additional Math credits
    • 0.5 credits from the Approved Indigenous Course List
    • 3.5 additional credits 

NOTE: Environmental Science/Studies choice and other elective credits must include at least 4.5 credits at the 3000 level or higher and 1.5 science credits. The above requirements are specified for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) program. Transfer students may also pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Environmental and Resource Studies, or a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Joint-Major degree. Students are referred to the academic calendar and/or departmental advisor to confirm degree completion requirements.

Cancellation Policy

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
