To receive an offer of admission to a degree program, as well as up to 5.0 full course equivalents of transfer credit, you must complete your two-year diploma with an overall average of 70%. Meeting the minimum admission average does not guarantee admission to competitive programs, such as the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs.

In addition, you must complete the program-specific prerequisite requirements. The communications courses that you complete as part of your diploma program tend to satisfy the Ontario high school Grade 12 university-level English (ENG4U) requirement.

The amount of transfer credit you receive depends on several factors, including but not limited to: previous grades, course content, and the program applied to at Lakehead University.

Learn more about our general admission requirements for college transfer students.

The amount of transfer credit you receive depends on several factors, including but not limited to: previous grades, course content, and the program applied to at Lakehead University.
