Program Residency Requirement

Students must complete the following 13.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Media Studies degree: 

  • 0.5 MDST-COIS 1010H - The Digital World
  • 1.0 Media Studies credit at the 4000 level
  • 6.0 additional credits from the Media Studies course list
  • 5.5 additional credits, including at least 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List

*NOTE: Media Studies and elective credits without specified year levels must include at least 6.0 credits at the 3000 level or above and no more than 2.5 credits at the 1000 level.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
