  • 0.5 BIOL 1020H - Foundations of Biodiversity (for completion of BIOL 3012 and BIOL 3013)
  • 0.5 MATH 1001H - Precalculus Mathematics (for completion of MATH 3079 and MATH 3080)
  • 0.5 PHYS 1000H - Foundations of Physics (for completion of PHYS 3005 and PHYS 3007)
  • 0.5 WRIT 1001H - Write in Time (for completion of COMM 3073)
  • 2.0 credits based on university level electives completed
  • 1.0 unassigned Arts credit at the 1000 level

*Additional notes: Students who completed courses outside of those noted above are eligible for a total of 5.0 credits. Individual course equivalences will be assessed on a course-by-course basis. The submission of course outlines may be required. Students must e-mail admissions@trentu.ca to be eligible for the transfer credit block.

Transfer credits for students who began studies in the General Arts and Science Certificate program prior to Fall 2021 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.

Cancellation Policy

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
