• 0.5 unassigned Business Administration credit at the 1000 level
• 1.0 unassigned Business Administration credit at the 2000 level

Students who began studies in the Business Administration - Human Resources Advanced Diploma program prior to Fall 2020 are encouraged to contact Trent University about the transfer credits received as part of this pathway.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:

• successfully completed Durham College's Business Administration (Human Resources) program;
• a minimum overall average of 75%.

• 0.5 ADMN 2221H - Fundamentals of Managerial Accounting
• 0.5 ADMN 2510H - Organization Theory
• 0.5 ADMN 3032H - Strategic Management
• 0.5 ADMN 3200H - Financial Management
• 0.5 ADMN 3290H - Canadian Employment Law
• 0.5 ADMN 3300H - Personal Ethics in Organizations
• 0.5 ECON 1010H - Introductory Microeconomics
• 0.5 ECON 1250H - Introduction to Mathematics for Economics and Management
• 0.5 credit from the following:
  • 0.5 ADMN 4042H - Strategic Management 2;
  • 0.5 ADMN 4040H - Managing Organizational Change;
  • 0.5 ADMN 4101H - Thinking About Management;
  • 0.5 ADMN 4450H - Perspectives and Practices for Organizational Sustainability.
• 0.5 additional Business Administration credit at the 4000 level
• 3.5 additional credits, including:
  • No more than 3.0 credits at the 1000 level;
  • At least 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List.

*Additional notes: Graduating students may apply for the Specialization in Human Resource Management if they have achieved a minimum 65% in each of ADMN 1221H, 2221H and 3290H, with a minimum overall average of 70%. Students are encouraged to speak with an advisor regarding CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) requirements and standards.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
