• 0.5 ADMN 2610H – Personal Finance 
• 0.5 ADMN 3200H – Financial Management 
• 0.5 ECON 1010H – Introductory Microeconomics 
• 0.5 ECON 1020H – Introductory Macroeconomics 
• 0.5 ECON 2200H – Introduction to Statistics for Economics and Management 
• 0.5 LSCM 2002H – Supply Chain Management 
• 2.0 unassigned Business Administration credit at the 2000 level 
• 1.5 unassigned Business Administration credit at the 3000 level 
• 0.5 unassigned Computer Science credit at the 1000 level 
• 2.0 unassigned Arts credit at the 1000 level

Transfer credits for students beginning studies in the Business Administration- Finance Advanced Diploma program prior to Fall 2022 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have: 

• Successfully completed Durham College’s Business Administration – Finance Advanced Diploma program;  
• A minimum overall average of 75%

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Business Administration degree:

• 0.5 ADMN 1221H – Financial Accounting 
• 0.5 ADMN 2010H – Management Skills
• 0.5 ADMN 2100H – Introduction to Marketing 
• 0.5 ADMN 2221H – Fundamentals of Managerial Accounting 
• 0.5 ADMN 2230H – Human Resource Management  
• 0.5 ADMN 2510H – Organization Theory 
• 0.5 ADMN 2600H – Applied Quantitative Analysis for Business; or ECON 1250H – Introduction to Mathematics for Economics and Management 
• 0.5 ADMN 3032H – Strategic Management 
• 0.5 ADMN 3300H – Personal Ethics in Organizations and Business 
• 0.5 credit from ADMN 4032H – Strategic Management 2; 4040H – Managing Organizational Change, 4101H – Thinking About Management, or 4450H –Perspectives and Practices for Organizational Sustainability 
• 0.5 additional Business Administration credit at the 4000 level 
• 2.0 Business Administration credits at the 3000 level or above 
• 2.5 elective credits 

*Additional notes: 

• Courses without specified year levels must include at least 1.0 credit at the 3000 and/or 4000 level, and no more than 2.5 credits at the 1000 level. Elective credits must include at least 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List. 
• Trent University offers a Specialization in Finance. Students interested in pursuing the Specialization in Finance are required to complete a total of 10.5 credits at Trent University to fulfill major, specialization and university requirements. Students interested in pursuing the specialization are encouraged to consult an academic advisor.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
