Students entering Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma program in Fall 2023 or later will receive the following 7.5 transfer credits, provided they meet eligibility requirements:
- 0.5 BIOL 1501H – Human Anatomy and Physiology 2
- 0.5 INDG 1001H – The Foundation for Reconciliation
- 0.5 KINE 4005H - Exercise Testing and Prescription
- 0.5 WRIT 2002H – Write It Up: Effective Communication
- 1.5 unassigned Kinesiology credits at the 1000 level
- 1.0 unassigned Kinesiology credit at the 2000 level
- 2.5 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Science credit at the 1000 level
Students who entered the Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma program prior to Fall 2025 are encouraged to contact Trent University regarding transfer credits received through this pathway.
Exigences
To qualify for this pathway, students must:
- Successfully complete Fleming College’s Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma program;
- A minimum overall average of 75%.
Transfer credits awarded through this pathway may not apply in full to all degree programs. Students are encouraged to consult an academic advisor regarding the applicability of transfer credits to their chosen program and for assistance with degree planning.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

Students pursuing majors for which equivalent introductory courses are not included in the transfer credit block may be encouraged to complete these courses in the term prior to beginning full-time studies at Trent University.
