Students beginning studies in transfer credits the Business – Accounting Diploma program since Fall 2021 will receive the following 10.0 transfer credits:

• 0.5 ADMN 2220H – Organizational Behaviour
• 0.5 ADMN 2221H – Fundamentals of Managerial Accounting
• 0.5 ADMN 3221H – Intermediate Financial Accounting I
• 0.5 ADMN 3250H – The Legal Environment of Business
• 0.5 ADMN 3710H – Taxation-Individual
• 0.5 ECON 1010H – Introductory Microeconomics
• 0.5 ECON 1020H – Introductory Macroeconomics
• 0.5 ECON 2200H – Introduction to Statistics for Economics and Management
• 0.5 SOCI 2220H – Intersecting Social Inequalities 
• 0.5 WRIT 1001H – Write in Time
• 0.5 unassigned Business Administration credit at the 3000 level
• 0.5 ADMN 1000H – Contemporary Issues in Management and Organization 
• 2.5 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Arts credit at the 2000 level

Transfer credits for students beginning studies in the program prior to Fall 2021 will be assessed on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:

• Successfully completed Niagara College’s Business – Accounting Diploma; 
• A minimum overall average of 75%.

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Business Administration degree:

• 0.5 ADMN 2010H – Management Skills 
• 0.5 ADMN 2230H – Human Resource Management
• 0.5 ADMN 2510H – Organization Theory
• 0.5 ADMN 3032H - Strategic Management
• 0.5 ADMN 3200H – Financial Management or beyond in addition to the above 
• 0.5 ADMN 3300H – Personal Ethics in Organizations and Business
• 0.5 ECON 1250H – Introduction to Mathematics for Economics and Management
• 0.5 credits from the following:
  • 0.5 ADMN 4032H - Strategic Management 2
  • 0.5 ADMN 4040H - Managing Organizational Change
  • 0.5 ADMN 4101H - Thinking About Management
  • 0.5 ADMN 4450H - Perspectives and Practices for Organizational Change
• 0.5 additional Business Administration credit at the 4000 level
• 1.5 additional Business Administration credits at the 3000 level or beyond 
• 4.0 additional credits including: 
  • at least 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List;
  • no more than 1.0 credit at the 1000 level;
  • at least 1.0 credit at the 3000 and/or 4000 level.

*Additional notes: Trent University offers a Specialization in Accounting. Additional courses are required to obtain the specialization in addition to those listed above. Students are referred to Trent's School of Business for more information.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
