Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill the requirements for the Business Administration degree:

  • 0.5 ADMN 2230H - Organizational Behaviour 
  • 0.5 ADMN 2510H - Organizational Theory
  • 0.5 ADMN 3200H - Financial Management
  • 0.5 ADMN 3300H - Personal Ethics in Organizations and Business
  • 0.5 ADMN 3400H - Markets, Governments and Organizations
  • 0.5 ADMN 4030H - Strategic Management
  • 0.5 ADMN 4101H - Thinking About Management
  • 0.5 ECON 1010H - Introductory Microeconomics
  • 0.5 ECON 1250H - Introduction to Economics and Mathematics for Management
  • 1.0 additional Business Administration credit at the 3000 level or beyond
  • 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List

*Additional notes: Students pursuing the Specialization in Accounting must complete the following credits through Business Administration and other choice credits: ADMN 3121H – Intermediate Management Accounting; ADMN 3200H – Financial Management; ADMN 3221H – Intermediate Financial Accounting I; ADMN 3321H – Intermediate Financial Accounting II; and 2.5 credits from ADMN 1620H – Introduction to Information Systems, 3250H – The Legal Environment of Business, 3700H – Investments, 3710H – Taxation-Individual, 4300H – Financial Management II, 4301H – Auditing, 4302H – Advanced Management Accounting, 4303H – Advanced Financial Accounting, and 4710H – Taxation-Corporate. Students not pursuing the Specialization in Accounting must complete at least 1.0 elective credit at the 3000 level. No more than 2.5 additional credits at the 1000 level are permitted. 

Students pursuing specializations within the Bachelor of Business Administration must achieve 65% in each course required for the specialization. For specializations leading to professional designations (such as CPA, CHRL), additional requirements apply. Please consult the academic calendar and meet with an academic advisor prior to pursuing specializations within the Bachelor of Business Administration.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
