Pathway Details
Terms for renewal or cancellation
Laurentian University Senate will review this transfer pathway periodically, introducing new amendments as appropriate. Any change to this pathway will not affect current students. Students enrolled at Laurentian at the time of any change shall be allowed to complete their degree based on the original terms of this transfer pathway.
Eligibility for Pathway
Graduates of two-year Developmental Services Worker Diploma programs with an overall average of 70% or better, are eligible to apply to the Honours Bachelor of Social Work in Indigenous Social Work program at Laurentian University.
Credit transfer
Admitted students will receive 42 credits toward the Honours Bachelor of Social Work in Indigenous Social Work program.
Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution
Students will be required to complete 13 full courses (78 credits) at Laurentian Unviersity.
Anticipated normal schedule of student progression
Students should complete the four-year Honours Bachelor of Social Work degree in approximately two and a half academic years (5 semesters).
