Pathway Details
Terms for renewal or cancellation
This agreement is effective from the date at which the program was approved, and the pathway shall be reviewed annually to reflect any changes that are made to either program's curriculum. Student's enrolled in the receiving institution at the time of any pathway changes will be given the opportunity to complete their studies based on the transfer pathway in effect at the time of enrollment.
Eligibility for Pathway
Students who successfully complete a 2 year Police Foundations diploma program with a minimum GPA of 70%, are eligible to enter into semester four of the degree program in Winter or Summer term.
Students can also enter in the Fall term with a different path to completion.
How to apply:
Domestic students will be required to submit an application via Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) and select “advanced entry” or “degree completion” as their entry semester. Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.
International students will apply via Seneca’s International Student Web Application, and follow up with their Admissions Advisor regarding their pathway eligibility. The student will need their Seneca application confirmation number when they reach out to their advisor. Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

Credit transfer
Graduates of the Police Foundations diploma program will receive 16 transfer credits toward this 4 year degree.
Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution
Students will be required to complete 25 courses, plus 1 work integrated learning term.
Anticipated normal schedule of student progression
Students who enter in Summer or Winter term will complete the credential in five academic semesters, plus one work integrated learning term (24-28 months).
Students who enter in Fall term will complete the credential in six academic semesters, plus one work integrated learning term (36 months).
