Pathway Details

Terms for renewal or cancellation

The agreement shall be continuous from year to year; however, either party may terminate the agreement if notice in writing is given at least 12 months prior to the date on which termination becomes effective. Students enrolled in the program at the time of notice of termination will be given the opportunity to complete their degree studies within three years based on the terms of the agreement when they commenced their studies.

Eligibility for Pathway

Graduates of Fleming College Fish and Wildlife Technology advanced diploma must meet Algoma University admission requirements which requires successful completion of the three-year diploma with a minimum overall average of B (70%; 3.0) or higher to be eligible for the maximum credit recognition.

Credit transfer

Fleming College graduates with a Fish and Wildlife Technology Advanced Diploma will receive 57 credits toward a 4-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology.

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

63 credits required to complete the 4-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology.

Anticipated normal schedule of student progression

Fleming College graduates may be able to complete the 4-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology degree within 2.5 years (depending on course availability and course load registered).
