Terms for renewal or cancellation

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.

Eligibility for Pathway

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:
- successfully completed Seneca College's Arts and Science - University Transfer Diploma;
- a minimum overall average of 70%.

Credit transfer

Students will be granted 7.5 credits, including:

  • 0.5 BIOL 1020H - Foundations of Biodiversity
  • 0.5 BIOL 1030H - Foundations of Cellular and Molecular Biology
  • 0.5 CHEM 1000H - Introductory Chemistry I
  • 0.5 CHEM 1010H - Introductory Chemistry II
  • 0.5 CUST 1520H - Introduction to World Literature
  • 0.5 CUST 3522H - Experimental Fiction
  • 0.5 MATH 1110H - Calculus I: Limits, Derivatives and Integrals
  • 0.5 MATH 1120H - Calculus II: Integrals and Series
  • 0.5 PHIL 1200H - Critical Thinking
  • 0.5 PHYS 1001H - Introductory Physics I
  • 0.5 PHYS 1002H - Introductory Physics II
  • 0.5 PSYC 1030H - Introduction to Psychology Part II: Social and Personality Perspectives 
  • 0.5 SOCI 1002H - Introduction to Sociology II: Exploring Social Life
  • 0.5 unassigned History credit at the 2000 level
  • 0.5 unassigned Arts credit at the 2000 level

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

Upon successful admission to Trent University, students are required to take an additional 12.5 credits to meet Honours degree requirements. Required courses to be completed at Trent will vary based on the major declared by the student. A listing of available majors at Trent University is available at http://trentu.ca/futurestudents. Any students planning to pursue a major in which introductory transfer credits are not provided are strongly encouraged to complete these courses during the summer prior to entering Trent to allow for a seamless transition into Trent.
