All Fanshawe College pathways will have a review date of three years from the date of implementation.  Pathways may have a shorter review date if substantive curriculum changes are made to either the sending or receiving program.  Students enrolled in the receiving institution at the time of any change or notice of termination will be given the opportunity to complete their studies based on the terms of the transfer pathway in effect at the time of their enrollment.

Eligibility for Pathway

Graduates of Fleming College’s Business Administration advanced diploma program with a minimum ‘B’ average or cumulative 3.0 (GPA) or 70% will be eligible to enter level six of Fanshawe College’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) degree program.  Applicants must submit a transcript with their application.

Credit transfer

Students graduating from Fleming College’s three-year Business Administration advanced diploma program will receive credit for courses equivalent to levels one to five of the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) degree program.

A gap analysis between the learning outcomes of the Honours Bachelor of (Management) degree program and those contained in the provincial program standard for the Business Administration advanced diploma program was undertaken to determine the credit transfer.  In addition, a gap analysis between the courses in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) degree program and those in Fleming College’s Business Administration- advanced diploma program was conducted to determine any additional courses that would be required to meet the requirements of the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) degree.

Summer level six bridging courses required in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) degree program from the Business Administration advanced diploma are Argumentation & Persuasion, Ethics in a Global Context, Marketing 2, Sales Leadership and Management, and two Non-Core Elective.

• MGMT 7012 Management Performance
